Bursar: treasurer or business officer at a college or university.

The Office of the Bursar helps you manage your student financial account by:

Sending out e-bills

Electronic bills are sent on the 15th of each month to your Loyola email

Various payment methods

For any charges on your student account not covered by financial aid, Loyola offers the following payment methods:

  • In person: Cash, check, or money order
  • Online in LOCUS, e-check or via credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard. 2.75% service fee assessed)
  • iPlan (Annual and Term Plans)
  • Additional Payment Methods

Overseeing Loyola’s Student Health Insurance

All full-time students must have health insurance. If you already are covered by another health insurance plan, you may opt out of Loyola’s prior to OCTOBER 1. Immunization requirements and information about other health and wellness services is available through the Wellness Center.

Providing easy access to your refund

Overpayments on your student account qualify you for a refund. Set up a direct deposit profile to receive your refund within 2 business days.

Offering tuition insurance

Students enrolled in the Tuition insurance program are eligible to receive up to 75% of tuition and fees if a withdrawal occurs due to accident or illness after the withdrawal schedule.
